Fun in the yard

Garden is growing, friends to play with, a beautiful spring!

 

Play date

Play date with the Cason's kids this afternoon. Lilli Jane loved watching them walk around, maybe she will figure it out soon!

 

Playdate

Pam Watren brought her two kids over today, both are just a couple months younger than mine. They had a good time playing while Blake was with Mama today. Taylor and Delaney played parallel today for most of the time, but didn't want to leave each other at the end of the day. The babies rolled around and were interested in each other.

 

Cason's came to visit

The babies all ate dinner together tonight...Lilli Jane was excited to have friends to eat with.

 

Playdate

Delaney was so excited to have girls to play with tonight. The Yorks came over while they were in town visitng their grandparents. We can't wait until they live close by to play all the time! Molly, Darcy, and Averi are their names. Blake loves to look at their pictures on the Christmas card on my desk, he had so much fun with Averi he keeps telling me.

 

Lunch date

A weekly lunch date with friends at Chick-Fli-A is one of our highlites each week. Today we went with Spencer, Grace, and James.

A fun at home practice music lesson with Miss Tracy today.

 

Baby friends

Lilli Jane had some friends come visit tonight. Blake and Delaney enjoyed playing with Riley and Callie while the babies hung out together, happy together and sad together.

Mallory is 16 weeks old, Lilli Jane 12 weeks, and Maggie just turned 1 in June!

John Parker was happy long enough to get a shot of all of them, this is a still picture, but there was a lot of movement trying to capture this, but many smiles too!

Mallory is a hand sucker like Lilli Jane. She decided to share her hand with her, Lilli Jane had it in her mouth at one point, but I missed the photo. They held hands a little while too, they both laid there tiger for a while.

By the end of the night about 5:45 they all got fussy. Wile David finished eating his crab legs/shrimp boil Kevin tried to calm them with a duck call...guess picking up all three was out of the question, so this was the next best thing. At one point all three were crying at the same time.

 

Playdate

We had a much needed play date with the Dixons today. The big kids all had fun running around playing. Joy and I had great conversation while feeding our babies. Annie is just 4 weeks old, and so tiny. I forgot how tiny a baby could be. Lilli Jane did great while there and I got to hold her sleeping in my arms, which I don't get to do much anymore. So sweet!

Baxter’s Bunch Playhouse Play date

We had a fun play date today at Baxter’s Bunch with Bailey and Carter, Blake’s friends from church and James, Delaney’s friend from school (his mom and I were friends in Elementary School). 

This picture of Delaney sitting in the middle of the girls in the chairs was taken after I looked and looked for her and finally found her.  I took a quick picture, then walked up to see what was going on.  They were playing house and Delaney was their baby.  So cute!

Play date

 

Bailey and Carter came over to play today, a spur of the moment play date.  It was great!  The four of them get along so well and enjoy playing the same things.  There is nothing kids don’t enjoy about getting wet in the summer!!!  Bailey and Delaney dumped the bubbles in the small tub and made a bubble bath.  So creative!  Chasing each other with the water hose I believe was Blake and Carter’s favorite thing!

Play date…

We had a play date with Tucker, Spencer and their little sisters today in the back yard.  The popsicles are a hit, we only get them when friends are over. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know new ladies as the kids have gotten older and made friends in school.  Noelle and Joy are two of them that I have become fast friends with and I appreciate their friendship already.

A nap to remember

I had all three kids, Blake, Delaney, and Cousin Coalson today for lunch and naptime, so I decided to let the boys attempt to sleep in the same room together.  We read some books, sang some songs, I got downstairs and I saw this on the monitor…all three sitting up and chatting…

Finally after about 20 minutes they fell asleep and then the boys started checking on each other again.  Coalson woke Blake up, then Blake finally went in, gave them a few books and then wouldn’t let Coalson go back to sleep, one thing after another.  Anyway, I saw this.  They sat quietly while Delaney slept and enjoyed each other for 30 minutes or so.  They love each other…

Playdate

 We had a super fun playdate this morning with Emily and Bella, twin sisters to Cooper (who was in school and couldn't come) that we met when we joined SPAFA 3 years ago when adopting Blake.  Susan and I have stayed friends over the years through RESOLVE (infertility support group) and then through the kids and I am very thankful for them.

By the way, Delaney has told me and pooped on the potty for 3 days in a row and has had very few accidents!  We are on our way!!!
