Gymnastics Spring Show

Delaney did a great job on her spring show today for gymnastics.  This was the end of her preschool gymnastics journey, but it ended well and with a smile!  She loved her flowers Blake gave her.

1st gymnastics meet

Delaney participated in a recreational league during her first ever gymnastics meet since Champions was hosting it.  She was so focused and enjoyed not only participating, but watching all the "big" girls.  She said watching the beam was her favorite.  

Here she is warming up and on the bars for her first event.

She scored a 8.0 on the bars

The beam is challenging at home on the floor beam, but she does so good at the gym on the high beam.  She didn't fall, but said her legs were wiggling.  She got an 8.7 giving her 2nd place in her age group!

Her floor routine we worked the hardest on over the past couple weeks since we can at home.  She really improved over time and remember her sequence.  She had pretty arms and great gymnast hands!  Her 8.5 got her 2nd place in this event too!

She was so funny during the awards, she was so happy and amazed at all the metals around her neck, she learned to salute and smile!

Her coach was Ms. Brittany, we miss Ms. Shelby as a coach, but Ms. Brittany does a great job too, she is so patient and kind.

We had another session with Shelby on Ariel today! I think Delaney has found her calling! Kaitlyn got to experience too and loved it!

 

Gymnastics

Delaney had her spring show tonight...she did great, she practiced for the past few weeks and finally got her back bend down and can stay still in the air doing a handstand. We were proud of her. She got a metal and was even more proud to give her the card she made her! I think she is in her element with gymnastics.

 

Up in the air...

We spend many days climbing on mommy, I guess it's the fun thing to do in a 4-year-old's mind, especially Delaney who loves gymnastics, flying, climbing, etc...but I have another one now too! She is following in her sister's footsteps too quick...this is my crazy gymnast girls. The second picture is my view, it's pretty cool! There was a time I could hold both big kids in the air, Blake on my feet and Delaney in my arms. I never got that picture, so I am saving this to remember how little they really are right now.

Always on her head on me, or someone, all the time!!!

My life...

One learns to stand on feet and want to hold on to me to do it all the time, the other wants to stand on her head using me to lean on all the time....story of my life right now.!
