Pinewood Derby

Blake's first Pinewood Derby race!  I think he's enjoying Cub Scouts so far, this was fun creating his car with Daddy!

New Neighbors

We were so excited to have a beautiful February Day to play with our new neighbors, Jackson and Eliza.  Yes, that is Coalson and Blake teaching Jackson to "Dab"!  Then, they are all playing a good old game of Duck, Duck, Goose.  The Classics are the best!

Sibling love

I love watching these kids cuddle on a Sat or Sun morning watching TV, it's the only reason I let them watch a show, to grab this shot and soak in their love for each other, a few hours later you can't find it in the arguments.  

Kindermusik

Miss Melinda is great with the 2-3 year olds in Kindermusik!  I mean, how do you really handle 6-7 of them at once on a Wed night at 6:30pm (bedtime)?

Delaney turns 6!

Delaney has grown up so much over this past year!  She has embraced school and loves to speak Spanish.  She told me recently she speaks more Spanish than English.  lol.  She wanted to go to Charandas for her birthday celebration even! She has taken off on her reading and is following in her brother's footsteps with reading very quickly.  She tries to write things all the time, she doesn't get spelling yet, but she knows what she is writing. 

She loves to play sports with her brother and tried basketball and is about to start soccer this year.  She has several friends she talks about at school and still enjoys going to church.  She tries hard on everything she puts her mind to and uses art to release her stress.  She still wants to be with Mommy all the time, but gives life a try too.  

Her birthday party this year was an American Girl Doll party at our house.  She had about 15 friends come over for "tea".  We quickly found out this was way too many kids for her to handle at once.  We will cut back to 1-2 next year.

Basketball

Coach Matthew Shelton had our two and Callie this year with a few other fun kids!  What a great basketball year!  They both loved it!

Girl's weekend

We had a girls bunco group get away to Edisto Beach this weekend, it was much needed and lots of fun!  We were back in time for the Superbowl of course!

Lots of kids...

I enjoyed having our new neighbors over this afternoon for playtime and dinner...I did enjoy my wine and turned the TV on a little while to make it go a little smoother than it was.  lol
We are SO EXCIED to have our best friends now across the street from us!
