1st week of school celebration

All those finishing a first full week of school went on an annual outing to a nice restaurant with Daddy!

Date with kids

Kevin took the kids out tonight to a special, fancy dinner at George's in Charlotte to celebrate their first week of school.

Wells Fargo Tournament

Delaney got her first trip to see a golf tournament with the boys.  They all enjoyed it and had a beautiful day!

Best daddy!

I love the way he loves these kids...he's not yelling, he's singing!  being crazy and loving being a dad!

I love watching him on the monitor with the kids, it make me love him even more.  He's such a great daddy!

Monster Truck Show

Blake and Kevin went with David, Pam, Coalson, and Peyton to the Monster Truck Show in Charlotte today.  They got to celebrate Coalson's 7th birthday while they were there too.  Blake had a great time and wasn't scared of the noise too much.

Math Boys

he has a math mind like his dad!  They were working hard to get this balanced tonight.  A new game for both my boys!

Headbands

I love watching 3 of my favorite people having fun and playing together.  Tonight was Disney Headbands game, a new favorite in our house.  Game nights are the best!

Reading time with Daddy

This happens every night, one book, one time to cuddle and read with the kids...we rotate who reads and tonight it was daddy's turn and I just happen to be able to take a picture.  These are the times I don't want to forget.  The emotions that bedtime bring, good and bad.  They are only little once, I try to take it in, but it's so hard while it's in the midst of it.

Halloween

Even though we are not going to be home for Halloween this year we haven't held back on the Halloween fun.  I carved a few different pumpkins this year, about one a week, which was fun to spread them out during the month.  Lilli Jane found the wigs as we unloaded the decorations.  The only thing we are missing is candy, but I think Disney will replace that just fine!

Wild hair

Her wild blond hair is everywhere these days, but boy does she love her daddy!!!

Soccer

Kevin got to be the assistant coach this year for Blake's soccer team.  He had a great coach and learned a lot!

Exploring

The boys enjoyed a day at the Panthers Stadium exploring it on a tour with alumni from the College of Charleston. It was HOT!

Blake and Kevin went to the Wells Fargo tournament with David and Coalson today

Visit with Daddy

Daddy got to keep you at work today while I went to a meeting and you waited on Bailey, the babysitter, to pick you up after school. I believe the ladies had fun with you at Rawlinson Road!

Kevin out of town

Kevin is out of town this week while I am home with the kids, we miss him so much, but know he's enjoying being with the kids in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I have been on an interview team for the new superintendent for Rock Hill while he was gone so it was a nice break in the evening while my parents kept the kids during that tough 4:30-5:30 time period.  While he was gone he sent me my favorite flowers with the sweetest love note attached.

Another Discovery Place trip...

If you ask the kids to tell you one thing they love or appreciate about daddy 9/10 times they say "taking us to Discovery Place". It's these things that stand out to them that make them feel loved.

Discovery Place trip

Daddy took the big kids to a Charlotte today since we had our second day out of school but the ice wasn't bad. They ran in to Callie while there, they had a great Ike as always, they love that place.
