Delaney got 2nd place in the coloring contest this year in the 5-6 year old age group, she just turned 5 a couple weeks before.

Lilli Jane got much more comfertable with Glen this year but was still a little nervous each time she saw him up close.

We celebrated at the Sunday make up tailgate and fireworks with Sunday School friends again this year at the W&F tent, what a great evening!

Come-See-Me Saturday and Sunday fun

I ran my first 5K!  I didn't walk at all and finished in around 27 minutes!

Sundaes with Glen and Mother Goose had to be inside this first year that I didn't plan it.

Cotton was out and about in Rock Hill this year for the festival for the first time.

Come-See-Me 1st weekend

David was in charge of Come-See-Me this year as the Festival Chair.  I served on the board and Williams & Fudge was a presenting sponsor again.  We had lots of fun as a family enjoying all the events the festival has, the rain didn't hold us back!

We even made frog food and wore frog clothes!

We ran into friends and enjoy their company in the community.

Since the wait at Sundae's with Glen and Mother Goose was so long to get their faces painted we opted to let Cousin Taylor paint them later in the week in hopes that they would stay painted a couple of days.  It only lasted a night, but they were sure cute sleeping in the face paint.  On their way to school today with it sort of rubbed off, but we have great pictures of her artwork to remember them.

Come See Me 2012

Come-See-Me 2012 was great!  I hate we missed the last weekend of it, but we went to all the rest of the events, here are a few memories.  Looking forward to the 50th reunion next spring.  Plan to come to Rock Hill to enjoy some of it. 

Glen the Frog!

 

Here comes Glen te Frog, after a week of seeing him, will they finally get a shot without me in it?  Blake ran towards them as they headed up the hill, Coalson ran in for a big hug and...

They did it!  Not only did they get close to Glen and touch him, but they both sat on his lap for a picture!  Maybe he had a good scent to him?  Not sure why, but they both did!  Too bad I wasn't there to see it in person, I had a "meeting".
