The baskets are ready for the Easter Bunny!

Lots of fun things to look through. Blake brings his basket over to look through everything, Delaney went straight for the chocolate marshmallow bunny!

After church they both fell right to sleep for the trip to the beach for spring break.

Easter Fun and Church

Since Spring Break is after Easter this year we are here during Holy Week to experience Easter at home.  It’s been nice doing things this week, and will be, but also having the week after Easter at the beach to do them again!  I will miss Easter on the beach, but it’ll be nice to be at OBC.  Today we dyed eggs, painted a bunny, and took Blake in to church for the first time.  He got to help hand out Palms and he sure knows the story about Palm Sunday, putting them at Jesus’ feet as he rode the donkey in to Jerusalem, etc.  He loves his Bible stories!!!

Reading to three

We all fit in one chair right now, how long will that last?  They liked that she kicked them while I was reading to all of them.  They then sang to her and gave her kisses.  Blake loves to feel her kick him and thinks it’s great.  I think Delaney understands it, but she also still hits my belly and calls her “Little Jane”. 

An Artsy Affair!

Chicago

We went to Chicago, just the two of us, for a conference Kevin attended, but also for our anniversary weekend. We enjoyed time away. At 34 weeks pregnant I wasn't able to do a lot of walking, so I went to 2 spas while he was in classes. We enjoyed museums, historic places, and the theatre to see "The book of Morman". It was St. Patrick's Day weekend, so they dyed the river green, a tradition there.

Fundraisers

The 3rd fundraiser of the week is complete!  Yay~I can breath again…course they did make me sick.  I had fever this week and last night during the Art’s Council Event contractions hit me and today I believe it was the stomach bug and more contractions, resting now to get better.

iRock Fundraiser was on Tuesday night…$200,000 raised at a formal event

Disabilities Board Fundraiser yesterday…$20,000 raised at 3-on-3 tournament

Science Experiment

I saw this on Pinterest and finally tried it…microwaving Ivory soap.  It was cool to watch it in the microwave growing and getting bigger and bigger, but it made a mess when we tried to play with it.  It was good at first, but turned to dust after a while that made the kids start to cough.  Guess they were breathing in toxins, great!  A fun hour though.
