Beds, beds, beds…

Delaney has a tough time sleeping during naptime…we tried a sleeping bag on the floor , after an hour or so she did fall asleep amazingly! Another time I took her out of her bed because she was jumping on it and put her on the floor with just a blanket and pillow…she finally went to sleep. We find her in weird positions during the night sometimes, she is asleep in the picture of her falling off the bed. Blake and her loved getting in our bed to watch TV and just hang out one morning. Sleep is a crazy thing for her, it comes and goes.

Delaney’s birthday party

Delaney invited 14 friends from church, school, etc. to her birthday party at Thomas Gymnastics. Her regular teacher, Miss Shelby, was there to runt he party. The kids had lots of much jumping and playing for an hour and a half. We stopped to have birthday gorp Mama made and Hello Kitty cookies. We did a book exchange with all the kids in stead of presents so they all had a new book to take home with them. She had fun with her friends and finally is at that age that she enjoyed them being there with her.

Family Birthday Party…

Delaney is so blessed to have so much family that loves her so much! We had a great time celebrating with all of them tonight on her actual birthday. Daddy made Chicken Bog and the kids and I made a banana pudding poke cake that was a big hit. The best of all were all the well wishes for a sweet 3 year old girl from those she loves most! I can’t believe she’s already 3!

Birthday Girl!

Delaney is 3 today! She woke up to find balloons hidden behind her door, then got to pick two presents to open early. She got Hello Kitty PJs, a HK brush, only thing she asked for, and an umbrella from Blake that he decided to buy with his own money from his Piggy Bank. How sweet!

She started her day out with a birthday pancake daddy made per her request. She had her 3-year-old check up with Dr. Wendy and everything looked great! She had a party at school with Chocolate Covered Strawberries mommy made with chocolate milk. Then an afternoon with Nanny and Grandpa and a family party at night. What a fun day for a special girl!

Krispy Kreme

We have a new Krispy Kreme in Rock Hill and we finally went to try it out today. The kids enjoyed their choices and Lilli Jane did too!

Davis Family Fun Day!

What an unforgettable day today! We started with breakfast at IHOP like we do every Saturday and today the kids used their gift cards from Nanny and Grandpa to pay, they loved it!

Then Grandpa and Kaitlyn came to Rock Hill. Delaney and Blake got to put the first paint on Lilli Jane’s walls of her nursery.

Then Kaitlyn and Delaney had some girl play time while I took Blake to James’ birthday party…his best friend.

Then we took naps (all of us, which Delaney usually doesn’t these days) and when we woke we played for a while disappointed that the sun was back out and it didn’t look like it was going to snow.

Daddy came in about 4:30 and told us to look outside…it was very windy, cold, and a little mix of rain at first, but it soon turned to just snow.

We were pretty cold within 30 min and it was also sticking that quickly, so we went it and had hot chocolate by the fire to warm up.
Then we bundled up better this time, grabbed the sled and headed back out in the snow.
